Experience Summary
As a graduate from the University of Phoenix I understand the importants of higher education. I have earned a bachelors degree in Pychology/Education, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, science, and reading. As part of my training I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and power point with notes. During the past 10 years I have tutored students of all ages in English, reading, math, science, social studies, computer skills, and basic life skills.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children, I believe all children can learn, but in different ways. Each child should be able to feel like they have academic success, even if it is not the same as other students. I believe students must do thier best and to get there they might learn it in a different way. I like to use real life to show way it is important to unerstand skills, and I give them 2 or 3 way to get the same answer. I am patient, loving, caring, and devoted. My goal is to help students reach their academic success. I have worked for AmeriCorps for the last 2 years tutoring in Grenada schools, and a few good educators can make a difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
