Hi there! My name is Veda. I am a current high school student with a passion for education. I hope to start my journey by providing affordable tutoring, and eventually becoming an educator. I have completed elementary and middle school levels of Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. Leading into high school, I took Algebra 1, Geometry, Earth Science, and Spanish 1. As a freshman, I completed Algebra 2, Biology, English 1, and World Geography. I took Revolutions, Art History, Choir, Spanish 2, Oral Interpretation 1, Health, and Integrated Physics as electives and/ or separate courses. As a current sophomore, I am taking PreCalculus, Chemistry, English 2, and World History. As electives, I am taking Spanish 3, Oral Interpretation 2, and Choir.

I took voice lessons for a semester during my senior year of college. I regularly practice singing and write music. I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.
