I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities. I continued on a transitional certificate teaching elementary grades two and four, and most recently have taught post-secondary medical assisting students at a post secondary institution as well as teaching night courses in adult education in medical terminology and medical transcription. While in high school and college I have always held a passion with working with children. While enrolled in college I volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club near my university. When volunteering I assisted kids with Reading, Writing, and Math homework they may have after school hours. Upon graduating, I worked as a Reading Tutor. My job was to provide skills to improve reading and comprehension skills.

I have taught for 15 years. I began as a Preschool teacher and did that for four years. I also taught a a Charter School for at risk teens in NJ. I went overseas and taught in South Korea for four and half years, and am currently teaching in schools all over Northern Grafton County as the Education Coordinator for the Support center. I am a very dedicated teacher with a great deal of patience.
I love working with and teaching children of all ages. I believe that children learn in a variety of ways and that if you give them time you will find their way so to individualize their learning so they will succeed. I believe all children deserve quality education and that knowledge is power!
