During my undergraduate career, I was a teaching assistant for Physical Science and General Biology for two years. My responsibilities included teaching several lectures, the grading and any extra assistance needed by the students. After graduating, I taught High School chemistry for the Biola STAR program. During this time, I also tutored at a learning center in Fullerton. In 2007, I taught 3 sections of general chemistry lab at CSULB. I then moved to the education department at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and worked with the public there for 4 months before moving into a management position. I have obtained my B.S. in Biochemistry, and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Biology at Loma Linda University.

In reality, I have been tutoring almost since I could read or write. The first tutoring job I held was in elementary school. After graduating from elementary school, I did my first two years of secondary education via home-school and stayed at our small, two-room elementary school in order to help the younger students. During my senior year of academy, I served as a Resident Assistant and Dormitory Tutor. After earning my bachelors degree in Biology, I returned home and worked at our local community college as a math tutor, and then went on to privately tutor several individuals, including one student who had been diagnosed with ADD. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring math and sciences since I have been a senior in college. Most recently I have worked tutoring math and science as a personal tutor in the LA area. I have also taught Biology and Earth sciences at East High School in Salt Lake City, UT for a year, and 2 years at New Community Jewish High School in West Hills, CA teaching anatomy and physiology and Chemistry.
I teach hands-on with many demonstrations and hands-on activities. I have been told by some of my past students that I made science fun for them and that science used to be their worst subject, but with me as their teacher they found it to be their favorite subject.
