I have always wanted to become a teacher, it is the most rewarding job! The best part of my experience is watching students finally get something I had been working with them on. It is great to see how excited they are when they finally see how all their hard work has paid off. I would rather come up with hands on activities as well as any activity that involves the students being active rather than just doing work book pages and activity sheets. I also think that if I am doing the same activity with the students and showing them that I am having fun they will also want to participate. It is important to me that I also be patient and flexible with all students, each child learns at a different pace as well as in different ways. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching since 1990. I spent one year teaching English and Women's Studies at a private high school. At the college and high school level, I have taught dance which includes writing about dance, dance history, arts administration classes and theory classes. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring ESL students in the US and abroad.
