I have always wanted to become a teacher, it is the most rewarding job! The best part of my experience is watching students finally get something I had been working with them on. It is great to see how excited they are when they finally see how all their hard work has paid off. I would rather come up with hands on activities as well as any activity that involves the students being active rather than just doing work book pages and activity sheets. I also think that if I am doing the same activity with the students and showing them that I am having fun they will also want to participate. It is important to me that I also be patient and flexible with all students, each child learns at a different pace as well as in different ways. As a graduate from the University of the district of columbia with an associates in mortuary sciences I feel that I am well equipped with the skills to assist the students with science, mathematics, chemistry, and pathology.
