I have little work experience, but I'm very experienced in math and frequently tutored in my two semesters as CCGA in Georgia. I also tutored STAR students after school and some peers in high school. I've tutored mostly algebra, but with minor review on my end, I can teach anything below calculus and feel confident in doing so. I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities. I believe all students have the ability to succeed. In my experience, the most important thing to remember is that all students learn differently, and sometimes what seems like an impossible task just needs to be presented differently for better understanding. I am currently a Biology Major at the University of Southern Maine.
