I have a great joy working with children because most of them are eager to learn. Along with patience and proper instruction I am a firm believer the scores will be achieved without the child feeling diappointed. I believe through visual picture walks and other techniques children want to be successful and make their parents and teachers happy. A Little Bit About Me...

As a soon to be graduate of the Counseling program, I hold education to the highest level. I have also earned a bachelors degree in psychology, which has given me an important background in my study of counseling. I have had a lot of general education classes which give me a broad area of study. I have never been a teacher, but I do have a younger sibling. I love teaching and working with children and peoples of all ages. I look for each individuals way of learning and apply an apporpriate method that will make the material understandable for the particular student. Sometimes, experimenting with a student and trying different techniques is the best method. Having a student use flash cards, reading aloud, or having the material read to the student are a few of the ways I use to convey material to be learned.I believe that it is a teachers job to identify learning blocks to help a student achieve to the best of his or her ability.
