15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad. I was educated at "Ivy League" level schools and purposefully educated myself in a large variety of the humanities, which in essence all tie together. Basic courses up through most High School material outside of the Humanities are not difficult. I believe I have a good mental connection with children. Teaching Math is not just about solving problems, using specific methods, equations & formulas that the student has to memorize, and then will forget after a couple days. It's about understanding the problems, it's about knowing where the problem is, and how to solve it using basic Math knowledge and some axioms, step by step, even reinventing the answer, if possible. Teaching Spanish is a lot different, its more methodical, I use some mnemonic "tricks" for the kids & adults to remember the important words & translations.
