I have worked with students from Kindergarden to 5th grade in tutoring them in reading. When I was 5 years old I learned sign Language, I had a classmate who was deaf and I fell in love with the language. The process is just as important as the product. If a student can come up with the correct answer, but he or she has no idea how or why it is correct or how they got it, I feel like their learning is incomplete.
