During my graduate program at SIU, I become a teaching assistant and fell in love with teaching. I taught undergraduate laboratory in microbiology and bacteriology to undergraduate students. I have earned a bachelor's in Biology from Augustana and am finishing writing my thesis to obtain my Master's in Biological Sciences from SIU. I love teaching. I us a guiding method of teaching. Because I believe that students learn the most when they do the work themselves, but sometimes they need someone there to motivate them or to guide them in the right direction. I feel this works in group studies also, but, the difference being is that all the student will be involved in a group discussion.

A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching has always been my passion. To be equiped for that, I went to school and earned a BS in Sciences of education. This degree not only prepares me to teach subjects like French, history, math, but also it helps me to perform school administration work. I have also earned a Master's Degree in Leadership Studies from Lincoln Christian University which not only enables me to tutor but also to mentor.
