I have historically been a sketch artist. This talent led to me into graphic design for advertising. I later majored in advertising and worked several internships and practicums with a variety of ad agencies and publication, including Southern Living. Over half of my 24-year is comprised of creative management positions. Recently, I decided to get back into higher education to earn my Masters degree in graphic design.
I consider myself more of a facilitator than a dictator but I do expect my students to show initiative. My goal is for every student to succeed.

A Little Bit About Me...

Education is the central focus of my everyday life. I have obtained a BS in Management-Health Care/HR and 5 Associate degrees in Business Administration, Administrative Office Technology, Medical Office Technology, Legal Secretary, and College Transfer. I have been homeschooling my son since 2006 and mentoring students through a local church for just as long. In addition, I tutored in 1990-1991 and 1994-1997 while in college to earn extra money. I have assisted students with Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Mental Health issues. I have published my own poetry and have written a novel which I will publish soon. Interactive as well as practical 1st I teach the grammatical aspect 2nd put to practice the lesson by a) doing practical exercises and b) interactive (students will repeat pronounciations with me and then practice with each other in groups or with partners)I will go to each group and listen to them and make corrections if need be 3rd I will instruct a student individually during the practical exercises or group sessions when I feel a student is not capturing an aspect of a lesson (understanding, pronounciation or grammatical)
