I have historically been a sketch artist. This talent led to me into graphic design for advertising. I later majored in advertising and worked several internships and practicums with a variety of ad agencies and publication, including Southern Living. Over half of my 24-year is comprised of creative management positions. Recently, I decided to get back into higher education to earn my Masters degree in graphic design.
I consider myself more of a facilitator than a dictator but I do expect my students to show initiative. My goal is for every student to succeed.

I have always had a passion for education and the gained knowledge thereof. I pride myself on facing any/all situations in an intellectual manner that usually results in collaborative outcome. With a degree in Theatre, many aspects of social skills and professionalism abound. We are taught to present ourselves before others, cooperate with others onstage and off, and enthusiasm is a must have to maintain on stage. A Little Bit About Me...

Interactive as well as practical 1st I teach the grammatical aspect 2nd put to practice the lesson by a) doing practical exercises and b) interactive (students will repeat pronounciations with me and then practice with each other in groups or with partners)I will go to each group and listen to them and make corrections if need be 3rd I will instruct a student individually during the practical exercises or group sessions when I feel a student is not capturing an aspect of a lesson (understanding, pronounciation or grammatical)
Teaching to me is a vocation and not just a job. I enjoy helping children achieve their peek potential in the subject matter at hand. My teaching experience is mostly in private school settings and I taught public school for a year.
