I try to get to know what tactics help each student succeed in the best way possible. According to what the student's interests and hobbies are, I create a tutor and study plan specific to them to help them succeed. Tutored 2-3 days a week for many elementary school students when I was in high school. Subjects included introductory Spanish, Grammar, Writing, Composition, Writing, Typing skills and techniques, Study skills, and reading. I have 31 years of teaching both learning disabled and cognitively disabled children. I have been trained extensively in working with youngsters who are dyslexic and dyscalculic ( math disabilities). In addition I have taught children who were on the spectrum, including those with Aspergers.
