I have 31 years of teaching both learning disabled and cognitively disabled children. I have been trained extensively in working with youngsters who are dyslexic and dyscalculic ( math disabilities). In addition I have taught children who were on the spectrum, including those with Aspergers. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : Dr. Suess among others are outstanding for teaching reading to children.

One of my greatest strengths is bringing enjoyment to the learning - finding connections with the interests of the student and the subject matter. The student begins to take on his/her own next level of independence and pride.
I am honored to have been able to help different populations from the pre-K in reading to the elderly in computer basics.
