My passion in life is to work with children. I love helping children learn and to see the "light bulb" go off in their head. I believe that all children can learn, but they learn in many different ways. My motto for teaching is "Learning to discover, and discovering to learn." As a child, I entered the gifted program very young and have always tutored my peers. Tutoring led me to join the Quiz Bowl and other Academic Teams as well as led me to graduate high school early. I have tutored everything from Accounting to Chemistry to Mathematics to Finance to Anatomy/Physiology. As a music graduate of Morehead State University, I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education. I earned my BS is Music Education and have completed additional coursework required for re-certification. I have substiute taught many classes and did a long term position teaching 6th grade science.
