My undergraduate education was very extensive into the field of mathematics. I completed almost every math class at Rutgers and it gave me a extensive base of knowledge that ranges from history of mathematics, calculus 5, and high level geometry, all while cementing basic concepts learned in early mathematics. This experience allowed me to excel in my master's work as an secondary level educator in the field of mathematics. Here I learned several ways to teach kids mathematics such as: graphing calculators, computers, group exercises. I have found that any student can learn. The key to a student's success is that education must be approached in the correct manner for that individual student. Not all students learn in the same fashion, and that must be considered in planning and implementing lessons.
