I am patient, not-at-all intimidating, and will occasionally have the student study other material so that I may review the information leading up to the material he or she is having trouble with. If it is a stepping stone to the current studies, then it is important that the previously studied material is clear to the student before tackling his or her current problems. Some students do not want to make the necessary effort to grasp a difficult concept, but, once they have overcome that mindset, I believe most students will find it quite satisfying to make the concentrated effort to solve problems in areas where they thought they had no "talent".

I finished my high school in Peru and after that I went to Barcelona(spain) to study music. I started playing guitar 10 years ago but playing like 12 hours per day, I took it really serious, I started teaching 5 years ago, and right now is what I do, I work with bands playing in bars, casinos, or recording sessions, and I give private lessons, I work at Rhythm fire school of music in olympia also. I teach all ages, I have a lot of music experience, right now I'm a student following the AA degree at South Puget Sound.

As an undergraduate, my academic pursuit was motivated by a desire to excel in education. I have earned a bachelor degree, in History and Comparative History of Ideas, which has strengthened my analytical understanding and approach to academics. I am proficient in grammar as a result of writing research papers, surveys, and essays in a variety of fields. In 2009 I was awarded the Mary Gates Research Scholarship in the Arts and Humanities and in 2010 and 2011 I independently taught an accredited course at the University of Washington. I am also an accomplished artist who has taught sculpture in New York.
