My comments on tutoring Physics : High School and College Physics.

I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I have also home schooled adopted daughters from lower grades to high school level, including teaching English as a second language. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in an electric machinery laboratory for non-electrical engineering majors. My own experience with standardized tests includes having taken the ACT in 1971 with scores ranging from 22 (76th percentile) in English to 31 (97th percentile) in math with a composite of 27 (93rd percentile) and having passed the GRE in 1975. Other previous experience includes 34 years experience as a communication system engineer. I have taught for a total of 11 years. I taught in Prince George's Public schools for 5 years, Hyde Leadership Public Charter School in DC for 1 year, Avon Park High School for 2 years, Hardee Junior High for 1 year, and Bill Duncan Opportunity Center (alternative school) for 2 years. I have a Bachelor's in Biology and certifications in Math (5-9), Biology (6-12), and Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (5-9).
