My comments on tutoring Desktop Publishing : We will learn the "ins and out" of the pre-press department, pre-flighting files to get them ready for the press. We will learn the various impositions for the various types of binding (saddle-bound, and coil bound). We will learn how to take in consideration every aspect of the printing process from admin. to the bindery. We will see why document made in Microsoft Word are NOT print ready (RGB versus CMYK). And much more.

I have worked in the printing industry for over 16 years—12 years as a Graphic Designer in the pre-press department. I have worked in all Adobe Programs, CoreI Draw and even MacroMedia Freehand.
