I have a deep understanding and zeal for helping people progress. I, too, came from underachieving communities but learned how to achieve because of teachers who had my best interest at stake. Every teacher must recognize that individuals learn at their own pace. I try to begin at a pace that the student feels comfortable with while gradually challenging them to improve their performance. My technical background makes me a very visual person. I like to incorporate that in my instruction, using visual aides and examples. Placing student of varying levels together will aide the learning process. My three-step guide is learn—teach—perform. If a student has learned the material well enough to teach another, they are well on their way to master the subject.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in May of 2010 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I have taken all math courses from College Algebra to Calculus 3. Engineering courses have furthered my knowledge and understanding in how the mathematics can be applied to real life. I have tutored college and high school students. I tutored college students in Calculus and College Physics.I tutored the high school students in trigonometry and Algebra.
