I have been tutoring for many years both privately and for Title I schools. I have tutored k-12, as well as college students in most subjects. I love the arts, writing, and science. I have a passion for getting students interested in learning, getting creative, and learning art as early as possible. The same method applies to math and science, where I try to get students to see their subjects in different ways and apply the learning to what they love most or at least can relate to better.

I never give up on a child or an adult. I recently tutored a law enforcement official to help him understand and pass algebra. He didn't think anyone could help him. The schools told me my son would never learn to read or write. He is my only child out of four who reads lengthy books for pleasure. Everyone has a different style of learning. My teaching methods I alter to suit those needs. I spent three years trying to help my dyslexic son learn to read one sentence. I have patience and I love helping people.
