Every child is different, but one thing all children need is some patience and motivation that they can do it. I am easy going and have great qualities to be there for children like I am for my own. I love to help children and anyone who needs help.
I have a degree in Criminal Justice. I have always been a good student. I have never directly taught children, but I have 2 kids who I help everyday with their homework and they are in junior high and are in all advanced classes. I rely heavily on Socratic questioning, to strengthen the students own thinking; my goal is for him/her to not need me. I use symbol and concept imagery language to ensure the student is not simply repeating, but seeing and understanding.
