I love to teach, and I believe my teaching style is very laid back. I like to allow my students to attempt things and try to figure it out with the information I provide. That way I know they are grasping the concepts. That is more important to me then speeding through a course just to get things done. I try to gage what the student is struggling with and also what they do understand, so I can quickly pinpoint their troubles and focus on the problem issue. A Little Bit About Me...

Writing is my forte and always has been. I have assisted my peers and those younger than me in their writing efforts in school a number of times and I held an editor position with the newspaper at Highline Community College. My responsibility there was to copy edit each story, as well as write my own articles. I have experience working with elementary school age youth through being a camp leader for 5th and 6th graders, and being an aunt to 2 boys ages 8 and 11.
