I just graduated from PLU with a degree in Business, a concentration in human resources, and a minor in psychology. I maintained a high GPA throughout my college experience and graduated with honors. I have been tutoring as a volunteer and as a job for a combined 7 years now. I have worked in both one on one tutoring with a dyslexic student, tutoring in specialized topics, and group peer tutoring. My longest individual tutoring experience has been with Aidan, who is dyslexic and I have been working with for 4 years. I enjoy working with youth and take pride in assisting them with confidence building as well as real life applications for learning and adjusting. I realize and understand there are different learning styles and try to apply the best teaching style for the maximum benefit of the person I am assisting.
