A Little Bit About Me...

Since my mother owned a day care center when I was a teenager and through my college years I have enjoyed tutoring students of all ages. I have understood students who struggle with different areas of study because I use to be that student when I was in elementary. From personal experience I have reap the benefits of having a tutor and learned several skills during that process. Prior to earning my degree in education, I was a sign language interpreter for the Deaf. I noticed that Deaf students were not getting an adequate education so I decided to finish my degree so that I would have the ability to have more influence with my student's ability to be successful regardless of their disability. I earned my BA in education with an endorsement in English. I have also had additional education in the area of Diversity and experience in working with special needs students.
