Teach ASL to educators (including faculty and staff) for PLU's, CEUs, and credit. Teach ASL as a foreign (modern) langauge at high school level, college level, churches, and to families of Deaf individuals. Teach Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing students at all ages. Worked with Georgia Parent Infant Network Educational Services wot work with families/friends of Deaf and Deaf-Blind babies from ages birth to five teaching ASL and American Deaf Culture.
Using visual aide is beneficial. I use powerpoint, SmartBoard as I teach ASL and to Deaf/HOH students

A Little Bit About Me...

As an Undergraduate student, I was engaged in a variety of eduactional settings from Substitute Teaching and working with students with disabilities to tutoring Kindergarteners in an Elementary school with reading, writing, and math. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a degree that has afforded me the opportuity to learn much about communication and literacy, but also much about the educational system.
