I am a certified music teacher from New York. I relocated in Florida in 2012 after retiring from public school music teaching. My major instrument is clarinet, and I teach all woodwind instruments, brass instruments and piano. My students range from beginners to most talented, experienced performers. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Marketing, I began a career in retail. I developed good listening skills as well as being able to effectively communicate information to clients. After 23 years in this field , I returned to the classroom and obtained my professional teaching certification in Social Science. I was able to put these skills to work as an ESOL Social Studies teacher I used my listening and communication skills to work with students with language and other academic deficiencies.I currently work with my students to improve their reading ,comprehension and writing proficiency.

With my BS I became a Research Assistant at the University of Alabama. I went to a Teledyne company to become their Quality Assurance Manager. With my MBA, I became a plant Chemical Engineer for Pratt & Whitney, then into Marketing and Communication Engineer. Started a land development company as their President. Left P&W and went back to school to receive my Doctorate. Started a church and ran missions and development in third world countries, for the past 17 years. This also included: Televison, radio, and internet outreach. I have since then written and published two books. I taught high school in Martin County primarily for gifted students for a couple of years when the school system lacked qualified teachers.
