I have 5 nephews and a daughter of my own shop I'm great with children. I was an honors grad and I also became a certified nursing assistant before I even graduated high school. I'm great in public speaking and have had many speeches myself with an audience of over one hundred. Psychology is one of my top subjects!

I start out with discussing the area of weakness with the student and then try to investigate why this might be the area of weakness. Once this is discovered, I teach the student (through examples) until they understand the topic with which they need help. Then, I observe how they perform without my guidance and see if they have learned to complete problems solo.
Most of my experience is informal with tutoring family members/church members/friends in whatever areas they were struggling. I first assess what the student feels they know, then look at what needs to be learned and from that I build a goal-oriented task set that should result in a learned skill set.
