I have worked as a Sunday school teacher instructing children ages ten through sixteen. I also taught vacation Bible school during the summers. During my senior year of high school, I mentored a young lady named Olivia Draper with whom I received a $2500.00 scholarship from Champions for Children for college.I also worked as a substitute teacher for Madison County Schools in 2009-2010. I worked most of my substituting assignments at the alternative school. I fell in love with the desire to teach students while working with the students there. I noticed there is a need for passionate educators. I plan to begin the movement. I am very patient, and I take pride in my ability to relate to so many different students at different grade levels. I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well.
