I find it's best to get to know each child individually before picking a teaching style to use. Most of my students have been successful because I mold me tutoring plans around their individual needs

My comments on tutoring Drawing : I have been drawing all my life. I focus more on abstract art and some realism. I also know other styles of mark making other than the use of graphite on paper.

I like to give a hands on demonstration and then offer support and constructive criticism to those who are learning. Art should be fun and an extended expression of the individual wanting to learn more about it.
I have been an artist since day one of my existence. I followed my passion for art throughout my educational career and pursued a Bachelors of Fine arts from San Jose State University. As a mother of two small children, I realize the importance of spending valuable one on one time with each child. The time and experience gained by the child is invaluable. I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, however I have a long career in sales and marketing. For the last year, I have been volunteering in my girl's class rooms and have enjoyed every moment.
