A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. For some subjects, repetition is very important and for others a clearer understanding of the concepts involved is more valuable. I like to start with small skills and build on them.
I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years. My emphasis in college was English and Math so I feel very comfortable teaching either of these subjects as well as reading.

My first language is Spanish, my second language is English. I grew up in Ecuador for 28 years and when I got married, I moved to the States. I majored in Special Education while in my home country and Special Education became my profession. When I came to the states I realised I had to take the GACE exam in order to be a teacher here along with SPANISH test, so I did exactly that and became a teacher in Peach County teaching Spanish I and II.
