Whether it's Musical help or Mathematical help that's needed, I like to realize the difficulties students are having. Then, together with them, I'll break down the problem, finding the source of confusion or difficulty they're having. Then start from the very beginning of the lesson they're learning, reteaching as though there was never any difficulties at all. A Little Bit About Me...

While earning my MA in English at California State University, Fresno, I spent two exciting years teaching beginning college writing. I chose to teach the class for students who did not pass the entrance exam for Fresno State because I enjoyed working with the diverse, and primarily ESL, students who populated these classes. I also spent three years tutoring many terrific students there in reading and essay writing. Currently, I volunteer to tutor adults, and attend professional development meetings in tutoring, through the Tulare County Library’s “Read to Succeed” program.
