My teaching style is simple. I apply real-world applications to each subject helping each student find that connection for better understanding. Making the learning experience fun helping my students retain the information that is learned. I have been providing tutoring and music lessons for 20 years. I studied French Horn on full scholarship at the University of Arizona. I have been playing music professionally (getting paid ;-) since I was 18. I play just about every wind instrument know to man. I have been working professionally in the health care field since 1996. I earned my bachelor's in Health Promotion in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA. I have been volunteering at my children's school for 7 years, coaching chess and soccer. I teach mathematical High School Placement Testing classes.

All through college I Tutored children at-risk and/or having a disability. I determined individual needs and apply a variety of methods to help children learn. As a first grade teaching after school I tutor first grader with reading and math. I like children to learn in a fun way. Students need to get up and learn. Worksheets are not something that I like to do when tutoring. Children sit in a desk all day. They do not want to then go and tutor and sit some more. I like to get the kids up and learning. I like children to get up and move and learn. All students learn differently and it is up to me to learn what it is and then use that to help them learn.
