I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. My academic record is very strong, and I believe empowering those I work with every single time. The only pre-requisites are that you have to be willing to learn, and learn how to learn.
I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. In addition, I like to engage those I teach, challenging them to think about what they previously have not considered. I believe in building on successes, and offering constructive criticism, where appropriate.

Quite simply, people are different. Accordingly, people learn differently. The real skill in teaching any subject is the ability to notice when a student, who for all intents and purposes has the capacity to succeed in a particular subject, but does not seem to be able to achieve such success. My approach to teaching is to listen to the “student”. Do the questions they ask seem to reflect confusion or do they ask no questions which may indicate they are so confused they don’t know what to ask? A Little Bit About Me...

I have a somewhat relaxed teaching style that does not compromise the distinction or respect between student and teacher. This teaching style results in a classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable responding to my questions and asking for further clarification about complex topics.
