I have experienced various types of teaching styles while in school. I have learned a long the way every student is different and learns in a different way. In high school and all even through college math had always been my hardest subject. My second year in college I had a math professor that had a different approach to teaching math and for the first time in my life I finally understood math! State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Duke University while working full time. I was a registered professional engineer in North Carolina for over 20 years while actively practicing engineering. I have a somewhat relaxed teaching style that does not compromise the distinction or respect between student and teacher. This teaching style results in a classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable responding to my questions and asking for further clarification about complex topics. Many students have told me that my teaching style is refreshing and they feel comfortable in class.
