I'm a researcher and educator. I earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Physics Hons. After graduating, I taught Physics, Mathematics and Science to high school, college and graduate students. My teaching experience was so rewarding that I won various awards. It also inspired me to pursue higher studies and I started my degree in Physical Oceanography at Florida State University. For the past 7 years I have been teaching, mentoring and helping students with Physics, Mathematics, Science and English.
I adopt a simplistic yet effective 2 level approach. I own my own science consulting firm and like to dedicate a certain percentage of my time to education and public outreach projects including teaching, mentoring, and tutoring. I have taught high school and college students on and off since 1986 and have had several students go on to VERY successful careers, perhaps one of the best ways to evaluate ones ability as a teacher. My most recent success (2006-07) was a 7th grade C and B student who had straight A's after only two months of working together and finished 7th grade with straight A's.
