A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught algebra, geometry, ESL, English Grammar, and Arabic language for over nine years. Most of my teachings have been one-on-one where I use standard textbooks, secondary sources, and additional materials to reinforce classroom/online learning. I provide plenty of time for Q&A session. I use various teaching methods; for the most part, this include student centered learning. I also focus on differentiation learning, where I attempt to cater to each student's learning needs.

I love biology. You will too. My students will become experts in their fields, but they are not there yet. It is not my style to throw them in the deep end and hope they can hear me yelling commands. It is my style to jump in and swim with them until they take off on their own. It is my desire to teach because it is here that I can know my students and personally be a part of their success. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy a very interactive learning approach. I tend to use hands on and visual learning techniques. I am patient and children are my joy to work with. During the attainment of my undergraduate degree, I conducted research under my professor, Dr. Greg Powell. I have a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Biology/Science Education and a Master’s Degree in Gifted Education. I have 9 years of experience in the High School classroom and 1 year of experience in a University setting. I have received Accommodations from my State Senator and State Representative for my work as an educator.
