I am a hands on learner myself and I believe children at a young age learn by interacting and play, such as teaching them a song to remember a quote or a math problem. I am a structured person and have a very organized approach to all of my tasks at hand. I am very capable of dealing with children and rewarding them with praise and encouragement when warranted. There is nothing more important than a positive self image and children should constantly be reminded of their strengths. Obviously, I would be there to tutor them in a subject area that they might have some weakness, however, I would impress upon them the fact that it's o.k. not to be "great" in everything and constantly compliment them on areas in which they excel.
