Experience Summary
As a psychology major I have realized that my true passion lies in the education of children, I have worked with children in the past at daycare centers and day camps, and I have always taken the extra step in helping children who seem to struggle. I truly believe that all children have the ability to learn at the same pace and level, certain children just need a little bit more attention in some areas than others. I have worked with autistic children in the past and understand the meaning time and patience. If you truly believe in a child they will have no reason not to believe in themselves.
Teaching Style
I am a hands on learner myself and I believe children at a young age learn by interacting and play, such as teaching them a song to remember a quote or a math problem. I enjoy making learning fun for children and I believe by intriguing a child it will decreases their boredom levels in school and with learning. I have been told that I have a true passion for helping children and that is not something you can teach some one, it just comes naturally. I am very patient and understanding when it comes to working with children, and I believe that is the only way you can be when it comes to children and molding their minds.
