I have over 20 years experience teaching in Japan.

I like to make the classes a lot of fun, with a lot of laughter, because I realised when I was still in high school that the fun classes stayed in my mind and I learned more in them. I also tend to befriend my students, against the conventional wisdom that there should be a wall between. If they are relaxed and can trust me, they will also learn better.
I have lived in Japan now for 27 years. I am planning to return to the U.S. in April. I have and am currently teaching in 23 locations with upwards of 34 classes/lessons per week. My students range in age from two to 64 years. I currently teach English conversation part-time at the International Resort College, where I have classes for future cabin attendants and airport ground staff. My comments on tutoring English : I've been teaching Basic English to foreign students.

I possess a calm, patient, and encouraging approach to teaching English through fun and play.
After finishing my 1st year in college, I started tutoring both online and offline. I have been working as an ESL Teacher for Chinese at different ages. Yes, I can work with students of all ages and at all levels. With my life experience, I can make learning English an enriching journey. It excites me every day to hear stories from my students.
