It takes two to tutor...and tango!

I am quite flexible. I think every person learns differently and no singular method should be applied to when it comes to tutoring; this is not an assembly line. I would take things on a case by case basis and adapt as needed, ensuring the student is getting the best possible help that I can offer him or her.
I am an English major at the University of South Carolina Beaufort in my final semester of study and will be graduating in December with a BA and a concentration in writing. I recently graduated from Ohio University with a BS in English Education in March of 2010. My last day of student teaching, I received an offer to teach at a Career and Technical school for a long-term Language Arts position for ten weeks. I taught six different eleventh and twelfth grade classes with two preps. During my student teaching I taught twelfth grade with four different preps, including traditional, accelerated, AP, and creative writing English classes.
I believe the teaching world is so wonderful because the process of learning is never-ending, for the teacher and the student.
