I have been an Adjunct Professor with Southern Wesleyan University for over 15 years teaching a series of management related courses. The courses I teach are Human Resource Management, Contemporary Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Issues In Management, Negotiations and Conflict Management, and Marketing. Courses that I have taught at the University of South Carolina Aiken campus include Decisions in Business (Microsoft Office Suite), Business Communications (business writing), and Legal Environment of Business. The reason I became a teacher was to transfer my love of music to my students and also to see the joy of their successes. There is nothing like seeing the smile of success on a students face. I care greatly for all students that I have taught and will teach. I first started to study music when I was 11 years old. I grew a love for the clarinet and played for many years in middle school and high school. In college, I majored in clarinet and also studied all wind/percussion instruments as well as piano.
