I have experience teaching many types of students. I worked one-on-one, daily, with an autistic student during my last position, so I understand that not every student learns in the same way. I think it works well to give shorter lessons to a small group, and then work individually with the students. I like to encourage them to help one another if they feel confident in the subject. I pay great attention to verifying that each student is following the lesson. My main teaching style is "I do, you do," meaning I show them how to do a problem, or spell a word, and then they show me how.
