Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

When it comes to math, there is always more than one way to attack the problem at hand and each method appeals to different students. I usually start off with one and I can quickly tell if another would be more effective for each individual since I've noticed everyone has different styles of learning. I do believe everything mathematical can be taught and learned - there are no lost causes when it comes to math.
I received my BS in Electrical Engineering in December. I was one of two who graduated under the Honor's Program and maintained a 3.72 GPA. I've been tutoring math ever since my second semester in college and even while I was in high school. I've taken Calculus 3, differential equations, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics and received an A in each of them. I have a great deal of experience along with a sound background in mathematics.

I get to know the student first and see how best he/she learns. and go from there. I love teaching, but to students about 12 and older. I am able to relate and connect well with them, and let them learn and take pride in their progress. Especially with younger kids, a high degree of focus on my part can be necessary to keep them on task, but I find that one can be firm with them and not need to be patronizing or forceful.
