I feel very passionate about education and learning. I think the key to teaching is to engage students, and make content interesting and relevant to their lives. I truly believe that the ideal teaching situation is via one-on-one instruction, because I feel students understand the content better, they can work at their own pace, and they feel comfortable asking questions. My passion since I was 5 years old has always been teaching. I used to play teacher with my sisters and give themm stickers for job well done. I feel students will respect you and appreciate you if you relate to them. Not necessarily reduce yourself to their level but treat them like young adults. As a Fayetteville State University undergraduate, I did a lot of volunteer work with high school student. I also worked in the school's computer lab assisting students with classwork and homework. I have tutored students for the SATs. My specific field is English but I can also tutor in Spanish. I have an extensive amount of knowledge in grammar and composition as well as anything in the literature field.

I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a BS in Exercise Science. I am currently attending NCCU to for a Licensure in teaching. The knowledge i received in undergrad allows me to be able to tutor students in all field. I have background in science and math along with physical education. I have participated in after school programs to assist students in education in k-5 level previously. i believe i would be a perfect candidate for this position with my enthusiasm to pass knowledge onto the kids.
