My comments on tutoring Arabic : I am a native speaker of Arabic (Egyptian slang)

I will be meeting for one hour with anyone on Skype, We first select a certain topic. we will form 13 sentences on this topic with different vocabularies and different meanings. This topics related to the traditions of the arabic world. Second we will make a practice test using photos and how to express meaning in the photos.
I taught the students for 17 years in Egypt( protocols, national relations and specific subjects). I was responsible for reception of foreign students from USA, Germany, France, Turkey and India. Also,for managing large groups of people in brainstorming sessions. I am Muslim and I read the Holly Quran very well and i can talk in religious issues. I traveled to many countries( Germany, france and USA)I can talk about different cultural topics in the Developed and developing countries

My comments on tutoring Arabic : Arabic is my mother tongue. I taught Arabic as a foreign language for a semester at UVU. I have also taught private Arabic lessons for students.

I am an Arabic native speaker from Jordan. I have a BA in German and English literature. I taught a semester of Arabic language and culture class at Utah Valley University. I participated for three years in a study abroad to the Middle East (2010,2012,2014) we took American students from UVU to Jordan, and the West Bank to study about the Arab Israeli conflict and the Arabic culture. My job was to help set the schedule, give preparation classes about politics, language, and culture, and to translate and guide students abroad. I have also worked as an intern for Peace and Justice studies for two years (2010, 2011).

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe above all that patience is key in teaching people of all ages. If the teacher's listening and communication skills are focused on the individual(s) being taught, the learner will let the teacher know when they are grasping and/or absorbing new material as well as when they(the student) reach their capacity. I believe that in learning it's important to pace one's self, allow the mind time to digest new material, and in finding areas of learning that spark passion. Although I think periodic breaks are important, I also believe in advancing somewhat quickly(according to the students' abilities) and in using real-time examples and experience to facilitate and solidify learning.
