I am very passionate about working and helping students. I have the approach that all students can learn and be strong in any subject, but some students learn differently than others. Some students just need a different approach to certain areas, and more one-on-one help. However, I do believe that the student also has a responsibility to try to better oneself and not depend on someone to give them the answers, but this does not mean that they do not need a little help along the way. A Little Bit About Me...

I hold two bachelor's degrees from Mississippi State University. Both degrees were award under an International Business Major. I have taught German labs at the University level and can teach math whether geometry, trigonometry, algebra or pre-calculus.

My interest in mathematics is what originally fueled my desire to pursue an accounting degree. My work ethic and study skills are what have allowed me to earn both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in this field. My greatest strengths, however, are writing and composition, which is why I minored in English. I've tutored in English, math, and accounting (jr high, high school, & college-level) for the past 8 years.
My teaching style varies depending on the needs of my clients. Typically when I tutor more than one student at a time, I like to give frequent assessments (verbal or written). These "quizzes" aren't to punish the students; I use them to assess the needs of the students and the strengths and weaknesses of my teaching methods. Growing up with more than five teachers in my family, I have always had a deep understanding of the importance of education and a drive to teach others. I recieved my Bachelor's in English from the University of Southern Indiana with the intention of completing a Masters and becomming an instructor at the college level.
