Over the years, I have had the ability to work in various grade levels in various school districts. During my student teaching I had the chance to teach first and fourth grade. After graduating, I subbed in many school districts throughout the Capital Region. I worked as a teacher's assistant in a self-contained classroom serving children between first and third grade. I had the opportunity to work one on one with them and contribute to helping them successfully reach some of their IEP goals. A Little Bit About Me...

The greatest reward in teaching is when a student realizes his or her own potential; to achieve this, educators must tailor lessons to a child’s individual learning style, such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic or tactile. My teaching style, then, is dependent upon the student, as it is crucial that the educator designs and modifies lessons conducive the child’s needs. I am a strong believer in constructivism, in which the child discovers his or her own learning through active and engaging lessons.
