Over the course of the past 10 years I have spent time working with students struggling to develop their academic skills, particularly in the areas of language arts and the social studies. I truly enjoy all aspects of education and have been a teacher at a number of levels and in different cities for eight years. I have taught students in K-12 as well as in college/university. I have a B.S. in Political Science and History as well as multiple Masters degrees and a Ph.D. in ancient languages, literature, and history. I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. As primarily a middle grades teacher, I have 33 years of classroom experience and 25 years of private tutoring. My basic focus has been 6th grade math and the education of ESOL students. I hold 2 degrees in elementary eduction and an ED. Specialist in Administration/Supervision. The classroom has always been preferred, even though I hold a degree in Adminstration. I am the true success story that education does lead you out of proverty, having come from a migratory farm-worker background in a rural agriculture county in central Florida.
